Basic Understanding of Meditation for Beginner

Meditation(yoga) is a Sanskrit word meaning union. Union of body, mind, and soul. It can be said, feeling universe on self or connecting with life force energy. Whatever it means, until and unless we don't feel it ourselves, it is worthless to define meditation in our term and language. Meditation is simple things but we have miss understood about it. If we practice in the right way, we can feel it now and then.

One thing we need to be clear and aware of is our mind. The mind always creates disturbance and trouble us while practicing meditation. We can't stop it but we can aware of it. Neither we can change our behavior instantly. We need to accept the nature of the mind and habit we have developed in whole life. We need the right kinds of techniques to calm our bodies and mind for meditation.

You need to follow a general simple 3 steps. So you can experience meditation better and understand it well.

    Preparing body for meditationFirst, we need to warm up our bodies. Filling our entire body or each cell of our body with oxygen. Reducing the stress level of our body. The best way I apply myself is by adding Pranayam kriya(only breathing out) with physical Kriya or exercises. This Kriya help to fill our whole body with oxygen so we feel peaceful and light.[20m-30m] 

    Preparing Mind
    Preparing mind for meditation
    Play a 5 to 10 minutes soft background music take an easy asana or posture and do Nadi-Shudhi Kriya. It will help to make your mind peaceful and clam.

      Meditation (Yoga)

    This stage is a state of peace, calm, and happiness. Do nothing here, just aware of breath or focus on third eyes. If you are playing background music, you can focus on music. Sit a minimum of 15-20 minutes. Slowly you can increase your time up to 60-72 minutes every day.  

    Note: [While practicing meditation be aware that your head and body(spinal cord) are erect and straight. It is important to flow energy properly in your body. For practice guidance ]
